Its empty the very next second.. This recipe was adapted from Nigella Lawson, The Domestic Goddess of Culinery. Smart, beautiful and loves cooking.. Anyone know such a girl, don't mind pulling the strings for me huh! Ok, enough said, lets start!

INGREDIENTS

125g soft butter
300g best-quality dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa solids), broken into pieces
3 x 15ml tablespoons golden syrup
200g Rich Tea biscuits
100g mini marshmallows
2 teaspoons icing sugar for dusting
Serving Size : Makes 24
METHOD

1. Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a heavy-based saucepan. Scoop out about 125ml of this melted mixture and put to one side.
2. Put the biscuits into a freezer bag and then bash them with a rolling pin. You are aiming for both crumbs and pieces of biscuits.
3. Fold the biscuit pieces and crumbs into the melted chocolate mixture in the saucepan, and then add the marshmallows.
4. Tip into a foil tray (24cm square); flatten as best you can with a spatula. Pour the reserved 125ml of melted chocolate mixture over the marshmallow mixture and smooth the top.
5. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or overnight.
6. Cut into 24 fingers and dust with icing sugar by pushing it gently through a tea strainer or small sieve.

VOALA!!!! thats it! Easy, Cheap and REALLY YUMMY! Enjoy!

Apple Crumble

Awesome food that you never get sick of, eating and eating and eating, over and over again. I maybe young but i have deep interest in this area. If you have any ideas you would like to share, or maybe any good recipes or tips, please do e-mail me at stegolego@hotmail.com. I will try to reply to you in the fastest time possible and i would post in to share with everyone. So i hope you like my blog and do comment if you wish. Lets start off the First post with an awesome recipe my mum told me about, i tried it, it was easy and awesome to eat. I brought it school and it was swept clean. If i am not wrong she read it on a book, if anyone recognise this recipe, please do tell me, so i can credit the person.

I am unable to upload the pictures as my camera cable is going "GaGA~"

Mum's signature Brownies

250g unsalted butter
200g dark chocolate
150g dried fruits,[(optional), best if dried cranberries and Cherries are used, but they are rather expensive, so if you are a student, you can try considering dried raisins to]
150g chopped nuts (optional), try not to use peanuts, their flavour maybe too strong
80g cocoa powder
65g plain flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
350g caster sugar ( is you want it to mee more richer, you can try adding less sugar )
4 large eggs
1 zest or lemon or orange

Tips:
When you are grating the zest of any fruits, try to get only the coloured area out, and not go too deep into the white part, it will turn bitter.
If you don't have a double boiler, you can try putting a bowl that is big enough to put on top of your pot filled with water, use the steam from the water to melt the butter and chocolate.
Do not Melt it directly in a pot over the flame, you may burn the dark chocolate and the oil in the chocolate will start secreting out, and that is not a good start.

1. Preheat your oven to 180'C
2. Grease a 30cm rectangular baking tin
3. Melt Butter and Chocolate over a double boiler.
4. In another mixing bowl, by hand or electric mixer, mix the cocoa powder, flour, Baking powder and sugar.
5. Once the Chocolate is 3/4 melted, add in the fruits or nuts. (optional step)
6. If not, wait for the chocolate to melt almost completely, its ok to see lumps of chocolate, as most are already melted, remove from heat, the chocolate will continue to melt.
7. Then mix the dry ingredients and the melted chocolate together, mixed well until silky.
8. Pour into the baking tin and bake for 25 minutes.
9. Once it is done, use a toothpick and poke it into the center of the brownie. If comes out clean, ITS DONE!
10. If it is still slightly wet, leave it aside, this is because certain oven will cause the chocolate to melt again.
11. As the chocolate will harden at room temperature, just leave it aside for 10 to 15 minutes and WOAH LA!
12.
